Field trip around the world!

Today with 5th grade we went to discover how the first trip around the world was! We went on a replica of the ship NAO VICTORIA 500! We learned about how the sailers lived and worked on the ship. Next we went into the exhibition and learned all about the voyage, the challenges, the accomplishments, and the extreme stories of the captains and sailors. Seeing the children so engaged and interested in this important historical event was incredible. It was an experience I’ll remember forever.

LIVING THINGS AND FIRST GRADERS!!!

First graders were studying "living things" in the Natural Science class, so they worked on it taking advantage of the Andalusia´s Day celebration. They came from the context Doñana Natural Park provides as quite an impressive Natural Andalusian heritage and they made their own "Doñana National Park" miniature to study animals and plants belonging to that Andalusian kind of landscape.

 Language assistants´school experience

15/02/2022

I had the opportunity to go with the 6th grade classes to a park in Dos Hermanas to practice orienteering. During this experience I helped students navigate throughout the different parts of the park using a map to find posts. On these posts students found letters that they wrote down on their map. In total there were about 30 posts because the park is huge. This was a special experience because the students were able to use English outside of the classroom while learning and practicing the lifeskill of orientation. I enjoyed being with the students and exploring the park together very much!
