CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SCIENCE

Today fifth and sixth graders interviewed two scientists using the English language. They are women who are really fond of devoting their lives to Science. They work for LONZA, an interantional bioscience Company in Galeen, The Netherlands. It was quite a nice and close experience. 

On Tuesday, February 7, I went with the 5th and 6th graders to the Vistazul Theater to see a show in English called “Munchausen.” It was about a character named Baron Munchausen who travels around the world and has many adventures. There were two actors and they brought student volunteers on stage with them to help with acting out the story. The students were very eager and excited to volunteer, and there were lots of laughs watching the students do silly things on stage with the actors. We all walked together to the theater and back, so I got to see more of the city of Dos Hermanas which was a fun added bonus!
